I am just an ordinary mom, who always want to be the best for her family. As my daughter now is 1 year old and loves to walk her little feet anywhere anytime, I would be the one who have to be light and healthy to follow and guide her. Talkin about being light and healthy, I have a story about it. I would love to share it with you all, mommas…:)
I was 80 kgs in my last minutes before delivering my Rara on 12 June 2010. Now, mine only 55 kgs, even 3 kgs less than before (pregnant)!
1. I want to be back to my –before pregnant-weight because of economical reason. Since having a babygirl, I would rather buy my daughter’s stuff than mine. My private budget is dedicated to my little Rara, therefore I was being motivated to use my old clothes. The only way for me is being “lighter” than before. Find your motivation, and focus on it!
2. First thing to do after giving birth is to breastfeed your newborn. I did it too, though I hadn’t a chance to do IMD (inisiasi Menyusui Dini). Breastfeeding is one of several ways to control and lose weight. I lost 10 kgs in 3 months of breastfeed my baby.
3. Drink much! At least 8 glasses of water you need for a day. Moreover, you must have rigid schedule for taking care your baby. So, drink as much as you can. It will increase your metabolism level.
4. Eat nutritious balanced food, and should you be picky on this! . Let go crispy chicken and pick to steam it. Choose fruits and steamed veggie rather than crackers and chocolates as snacks. The several first times would be hard. However, if you giving your best efforts to stand on, you’ll be great. Just think about the result, just imagine your new slim body.
5. Last but not least, you must do some exercises. Showering your kids, washing clothes and kitchen utensils, brooming your guest room, are some of easy exercises. :)
That’s all. Just a note, the most important thing is your happiness. Be happy and don’t worry about a thing! When you are happy, everything would be easy to handle, and everything will happen as planned. :)
